Saint John's Day

The ‘fête de la Saint-Jean’ is an emblematic feast, originally pagan, celebrated as it should be in Sainte-Maxime. Midsummer represents the celebration of the summer solstice! That is, the arrival of the summer season which occurs on June 21. Did you know? Saint-Jean draws its source from the worship of the sun celebrated since Antiquity!!!
